John, for me the Mysteries Unknown got me into Stonehenge as a kid and reading Z for Zachariah when I was in 2nd grade and later in elementary school, one of my favorite books Alas, Babylon got me into anything post-apocalyptic. So I would watch any show or read anything paranormal or post-apocalyptic and still do.
I think it’s awesome your wife still has some of those books. If she wants to complete her set, eBay and Amazon have the books. It seems like a full set was around $200. I had to resist the impulse purchase. LOL!
I watched the commercials, also, when I posted about the books. Thank you for thinking to post them, especially for those among us who are too young to remember. Did you notice Julianne Moore at about 3:18 and Michael O’Neill, around 4:19, they are in the same commercial? I’m sure you know who Moore is, but O’Neill is more of a character actor. He had a recurring role in the West Wing, The Unit and NCIS, but he’s been in lots of things.
Welcome, Attovishnu, it’s good to see new additions to the conversation. 🙂
Duncan, thank you for the suggestion. And since John didn’t really want to do a film about crop circles, but ended up liking it anyway, is even more reason for Adam to give in and do the Zeitgeist movie(s). Nudge, nudge, 😉 😉
